Kabaka Kyabagu Kabinuli

1750 – 1780 Kabaka Kyabagu Kabinuli, Kabaka of Buganda, third son of Prince Musanje Goloba, by his second wife, Nabulya Nalugwa. Succeeded on the abdication of his elder brother, ca. 1750. Established his capital at Lubiya. m. (first) Gwolyowa, daughter Myamba, of the Lugave clan. m. (second) Kiribwa (d.s.p.), daughter of Sebugulu, of the Lugave clan. m. (third) Magota (d.s.p.), daughter of Namukoka, of the Mamba clan. m. (fourth) Misinga (d.s.p.), daughter of Natigo, of the Lugave clan. m. (fifth) Mbigide (d.s.p.), daughter of Terwewalwa, of the Nvuma clan. m. (sixth) Nabiweke (d.s.p.), daughter of Segirinya, of the Dgo clan. m. (seventh) Nabugere, daughter of Sekayiba, of the Ffumbe clan. m. (eighth) Nagalale, daughter of Lule, of the Donge clan. m. (ninth) Abakyala Najemba, the Omubika (d.s.p.), daughter of Lule, of the Donge clan. m. (tenth) Nalubimbi, daughter of Namwama, of the Kobe clan. m. (eleventh) Nalugoti (d.s.p.), daughter of Masembe, of the Nsenene clan. m. (twelfth) Nalunga (d.s.p.), daughter of Lugunju, of the Nvumba clan. m. (thirteenth) Nalwondoba, daughter of Nankere, of the Mamba clan. m. (fourteenth) Namayanja (k. by her husband in an angry rage, ca. 1780), daughter of Bude, of the Mamba clan. m. (fifteenth) Namboze, daughter of Namwama, of the Kobe clan. m. (sixteenth) Nankanja (d.s.p.), daughter of Nakabalira, of the Nvuma clan. m. (seventeenth) Nanteza, daughter of Kakembo, of the Ndjovu clan.. m. (eighteenth) Nfambe (d.s.p.), daughter of Sekayiba, of the Ffumbe clan. m. (nineteenth) Nanzigu. m. (twentieth) Nakalyowa. He was k. by Kikoso, valet to Nakirindisa, at Namubiru, 1780 (bur. Merera, and reburied at Kyebando in 1869), having having had issue:

  • 1) Prince (Omulangira) Sanya (s/o Misinga).
  • 2) Prince (Omulangira) Mbajwe (s/o Nabugere).
  • 3) Prince (Omulangira) Saku (s/o Nalubimbi).
  • 4) Prince (Omulangira) Wango (s/o Nalwondoba).
  • 5) Prince (Omulangira) Kalema (s/o Namboze). Constested the succession on the death of his father. Defeated by his brother, Junju, and fled to Bunyoro.
  • 6) Prince (Omulangira) Kibuli.
  • 7) Prince (Omulangira) Kigoye (s/o Namboze).
  • 8) Prince (Omulangira) Lubambula.
  • 9) Prince (Omulangira) Mukama. Rebelled against his half-brother, Kabaka Junju. He was k. by his half brother, Prince Semakokiro, after 1780.
  • 10) Prince (Omulangira) Wakayima. He had issue:

  • 14) Prince (Omulangira) Kiribata (s/o Namayanja). He was k. in battle at Mulago, by his half-brother, Kabaka Junju, ca. 1780.
  • 15) Prince (Omulangira) Kikunta (s/o Namayanja). He was k. in battle at Mulago, by his half-brother, Kabaka Junju, ca. 1780.
  • 1) Princess (Omumbejja) Nsekere (d/o Gwolyowa).
  • 2) Princess (Omumbejja) Nalukwakula (d/o Nagalale).
  • 3) Princess (Omumbejja) Nakayiza.
  • 4) Princess (Omumbejja) Zansanze (d/o Nanteza).
