Kabaka Juuko Mulwana

Kabaka Juko Mulwana, Kabaka of Buganda, second son of Kabaka Katerega Kamegere, Kabaka of Buganda, by his eighth wife, Namutebi. Succeeded on the death of his elder brother, ca. 1680. Established his capital at Dgalamye. m. (first) Nabatanzi, daughter of Sebugulu, of the Lugave clan. m. (second) Nakimera, daughter of Kalanzi, of the Nsenene clan. m. (third) Nakisozi, daughter of Sekayiba, of the Mbogo clan. m. (fourth) Nalunga, daughter of Semalulu, of the Nvuma clan. m. (fifth) Nandaula Kabengano, daughter of Nkata, of the Nsenene clan. m. (sixth) Nantume, daughter of Sekayiba, of the Mbogo clan. He had issue, seven sons and several daughters, including:

  • 1) Prince (Omulangira) Batanzi (s/o Nabatanzi).
  • 2) Prince (Omulangira) Kimera (s/o Nakimera).
  • 3) Prince (Omulangira) Kisozi (s/o Nakisozi).
  • 4) Prince (Omulangira) Lumweno. b. at Lubaga Hill (s/o Nalunga).
  • 5) Kabaka Ndaula Nsobya, Kabaka of Buganda (s/o Kabengano) – see below.
  • 6) Prince (Omulangira) Kasagazi (s/o Nantume).
  • 7) Prince (Omulangira) Kyekaka.
  • 1) Princess (Omumbejja) Kagere.
