Kabaka Junju Sendegeya

1780 – 1797 Kabaka Junju Sendegeya, Kabaka of Buganda, son of Kabaka Kyabagu Kabinuli, Kabaka of Buganda, by his seventeenth wife, Nanteza. Succeeded on the death of his father, ca. 1780. Established his capital at Mugonga. m. (first) Katagya, daughter of Gabunga, of the Mamba clan. m. (second) Nakamu I, daughterof Lwomwa, of the Ndiga clan. m. (third) Nakamu II, daughter of Katambala, of the Ndiga clan. m. (fourth) Tebwaza, daughter of Kasamba, of the Mbogo clan. He was k. in the battle of Kiwawu, against his brother Semakokiro, 1797 (bur. Merera), having had issue, one son and two daughters:

  • 1) Prince (Omulangira) Semalume (s/o Nakamu).
  • 1) Princess (Omumbejja) Nakabiri.
  • 2) Princess (Omumbejja) Kyomubi (d/o Katagya).
