Kabaka Jemba Busungwe

Kabaka Jemba Busungwe, Kabaka of Buganda, son of Kabaka Nakibinge Kagali, Kabaka of Buganda, by his second wife, Najjemba. Succeeded on the death of his elder half-brother. Established his capital at Mubango Hill. m. (first) Nabanja, daughter of Kayira, of the Mbogo clan. m. (second) Nakazi, daughter of Gabunga, of the Mamba clan. m. (third) at Mubango, Nanfuka (bur. at Lugi), daughter of Kasuja, of the Ngeye clan. He d. at the Bagambamunyoro Palace, Mugango, Busiro Co., ca. 1584 (bur. Gombe, Bulemezi Co.), having had issue, four sons:

  • 1) Prince (Omulangira) Kawali (s/o Nabanja)
  • 2) Prince (Omulangira) Lulume (s/o Nabanja).
  • 3) Prince (Omulangira) Gogombe (s/o Nakazi).
  • 4) Prince (Omulangira) Zigulu (s/o Nanfuka).
